Bolt Electrical Wentzville, MO

About

One electrician,
fourteen years, one county

Bolt Electrical Contractors is a small shop in Wentzville, Missouri, run by the person who does the work.

The owner

Meet Jaime

Jaime has spent fourteen years in the electrical trade and holds a master electrician license. He started Bolt because he kept meeting homeowners who'd been sold a job by someone they never saw again, then had a rotating cast of strangers in their basement for a week.

Bolt runs the other way. Jaime answers the phone, walks the job, gives you the number, and then he's the one on the ladder. If something isn't right afterward, you're calling the same person — not a warranty department.

That model puts a ceiling on how many jobs Bolt can take at once. It also means the odd little project gets the same attention as the panel swap. Some of the work he's proudest of is the strange stuff — a customer's whiskey bottles turned into bar pendants, a stairwell chandelier hung off a 20-foot ceiling.

How we work

What "local care" actually means

It's an easy phrase to put on a website. Here's what it translates to on an actual job.

You get the owner

The number on this site rings Jaime's phone. No dispatcher, no ticket queue, no being handed to whichever tech is free.

He lives here too

Wentzville-based, working the county he lives in. Reputation here travels by neighbor, not by ad spend — which is a strong incentive to do it right.

Licensed & insured

Master electrician license, liability coverage, and permits pulled on the work that requires them. Certificate available whenever you want to see it.

Numbers before work

Free estimates, and you hear the price and the plan before anyone opens a wall. Surprises on the invoice aren't how you earn a referral.

Cleaned up after

Drop cloths down before the ladder goes up, debris hauled out, and a walkthrough of what changed before we leave your house.

Power and data together

Bolt now covers the low-voltage side too — Cat6, fiber, cameras and Wi-Fi — with an actual network engineer doing it, so it's one crew and one schedule instead of two.

In their words

What customers say

“Have used Bolt/Jaime for 3 different projects. He was on time, polite, and offered good solutions to our project requests. Prices were reasonable. Always completed the projects by cleaning up his work area and explaining what was done. Happy to refer him to others.”
Tom Chuchola
“I've had Bolt do a handful of electrical work around the house. Jaime's always done an awesome job. Even odd jobs like hanging some whiskey bottles as a light fixture in the bar turned out perfect. Communicated well throughout the project and made sure it turned out exactly how I wanted.”
